The first property under the brand, Shibuya Granbell Hotel, opened in Tokyo with 105 rooms, laying the foundation for what has grown into a hospitality portfolio spanning multiple destinations. Today, Belluna operates 32 properties across Japan, while also maintaining one of the country’s largest hospitality inventories in Hokkaido with more than 2,600 rooms across the region.

Through Granbell Hotel Colombo and Le Grand Galle, Belluna has established a growing hospitality presence in Sri Lanka. Granbell Hotel Colombo also marked the brand’s first property outside Japan, developed with a minimalist architectural approach shaped by Japanese design principles. Additionally, the company is expanding its presence within Sri Lanka’s tourism sector through the upcoming Granbell Hotel development in Ella.
