BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT Sri Lanka Section has extended the application deadline for the National ICT Awards – NBQSA 2022 till 22nd July. This year, the most awaited awards ceremony is held for the 24th year to recognize the outstanding achievements in terms of ICT related products and services developed by individuals and organizations. The judging process of the NBQSA 2022 is set to commence in the month of August and the Awards ceremony will be held on 4th November 2022. The winners of the NBQSA are then nominated to compete at the Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA).
Commenting on the awards event, Mr. Sanharsha Jayatissa, Chairman, National ICT Awards – NBQSA 2022 said, “We have decided to extend the application deadline for the NBQSA, considering the current situation of the country. We have already received a considerable number of applications and amidst these challenging times, we wanted to provide more time for the applicants to apply for the event. Given its high popularity and recognition among the ICT professionals, we have witnessed an increase in the number of participants for each year and received good response for the continuity of the event.”
Mr. Vajeendra S Kandegamage, Chairman of BCS Sri Lanka Section stated, “We have announced an application deadline extension to provide more opportunities for the applicants. Hence, we encourage the ICT sector to grab this opportunity to be rewarded at a national level awards event. NBQSA is a platform that aims to elevate the country’s ICT products and innovations to reach the international standards. It lays the groundwork for individuals and organizations to showcase their innovations and receive the recognition they deserve.”
Following 22nd July deadline, the applicants are requested to visit the official website of the National ICT Awards – NBQSA 2022, www.nbqsa.org and submit the applications upon referring to the application procedure and guidelines.
