The Rotary Club of Colombo Midtown, together with the Rotaract Clubs of Colombo Midtown, Australian College of Business and Technology, University of Colombo Faculty of Management and Finance, and Achievers Lanka Business School, organized their annual signature fundraiser project, “BLIND WALK” in Colombo.
Themed as ‘Walk for Light, in Sight’, this project is part of a global humanitarian initiative that aims to raise awareness about blindness and promote eye donations in respect of the “World Sight Day”, which fell on the 13th of October.
This event also offered the opportunity for the participants to pledge for eye donations in order to share the gift of sight to those in need.
