Sri Lanka has reported nearly a 43.3% drop in tourist arrivals for the month of April.

According to the Tourism Ministry, 60,359 tourists have arrived in April 2022.

It is a drop of 46,141 tourists from the 106,500 tourist arrivals that were reported in March 2022.

In January, Sri Lanka saw 82,327 tourist arrivals and in February, it increased to 96,507.
